Studio DeBord is the creative work of graphic designer Chloe DeBord, who was born and raised in Philadelphia and is now based in Phoenix, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design & Advertising. Her brand draws heavy inspiration from Bauhaus and the brutalist belief that the most impactful designs utilize bare structural elements to embrace both form and functionality.

Specializing in typography and editorial work, Chloe values not just the art of design, but also the importance of understanding the client and serving as a trusted creative vessel in the process of intentional curation.

Working alongside award-winning interior designer and owner Kaitlyn Wolfe at her studio, Iconic by Kaitlyn Wolfe, was an experience in which Chloe wore many hats. From designing the branding and web presence of their tile line, Substrate, to creative directing the launch of their new custom fabricated line, 01Elemental, working in this creative enviroment provided a vast array of skillsets and experiences. Several of the projects below have been featured in The Local Project, Modern Luxury, Retsy by Forbes, and Iconic Life.

This role has provided a valuable opportunity to collaborate with talented individuals across the west coast within the art, design, and architecture communities.

This project involved redesigning a menu for Novel, Phoenix’s favorite ice cream truck and shop. The client needed one version for their brick-and-mortar location and another for their mobile food truck. By adhering to the brand kit, Chloe refreshed the visual identity - making it more digestible, modern, and eye-catching - while more effectively capturing the energy and personality of the brand.
